Default Power windows acting up

Problems with the power windows on my 1996 F-150 Extended Cab XLT. Sometimes neither window operates from the driver's door switches, and at other tiimes both windows work. Sometimes only one or the other work from the driver's side. And sometimes the passenger's window might or might not work from the passenger side switch. At first I suspected a ground problem, now I'm not sure. I have noticed that when I operate the switches the charging guage needle on the dash deflects, which indicates the switches are causing a power draw, and I can hear a distinct clicking sound. I have sprayed the switch assemblies with CRC Electrical Contact Cleaner, but it hasn't helped. Sure would appreciate any suggestions if someone else has encountered these problems. TIA.

I would check the wiring at the master switch, if it checks out all good then more and likely the window switch.

It's too complicated for me to understand.

Don't try reading between the lines. You've got to read between the words to understand it.

Do you think you could help us out and decipher this "coded" message ?

I'm sure Cassey is trying to be helpful. Decoded, his message means "Quit trying to solve this problem yourself. Go to a professional repair shop." I
interpret this to mean that Cassey belongs to a union, and wants me to go to a union shop for the repairs.
