Default rought idle no power brakes 2005 f150 4x4

Had a bad flywheel, swapped it out over a week. All went well till I reconnected the battery. rought idle and would die and had no power assess brakes. Tried the owners manual for replacing the battery to no avail. truck ran good before .

You might go over all the work you did and may find a disconnected vacuum line. When we recheck work done , many times things are found that were thought to be done or were not done correctly. We've all been there and that's why we learned to double check everything.

Yep...Been there...Done that...

Check the vacuum line for the brake booster. Make sure it's connected completely and also check it for cracks causing a vacuum leak.

Found it. Vaccuum line had come off. Took a small mirror and flash light to see it but it was there. Had to remove one side of fuel rail and barely could reach it.

Glad you found it and it was fixable without adding any more $$$'s to the project.
