Hey guys ,

just got this truck a week ago, never really never noticed it on my test drive but if you can hear the loud almost ticking sound.

Anyone know what’s this could be ? Sounds like it’s coming from the front ? I checked by exhaust and nothing really there.

any ideas thanks !

 

What do you know about this vehicle's maintenance history ?

The reason I ask is , if it did not receive regular oil changes with the proper oil, it might require some timing chain work involving the variable valve timing system (VVT)

it had regular oil changes.

 

Regular can mean different things to different folks.

Were they according to owner's manual and use recommended grade oil ?

If so, should prevent this kind of problem.
