rear window defroster
The first thing you might do is to verify power is getting to the window grid.
If it is, then you need to find the break and that can be easily repaired with a piece of tinfoil if necessary.
If no power to it ,yes I forgot to state the key must be on and the rear defroster button should be calling for defrost, any way , if no power is coming to it , check for power available at the switch . If power is available coming in , power should be available going out of the switch when in the on position. If no power is available at all, then look for a possible open fuse. Owner's manual should show which fuse and where.
