Seeking Advice: Starting Issue with 2004 Ford F-150
I've hit a snag with my 2004 Ford F-150 and could use some help. After driving home from work I parked my truck. Temps froze over so I didn’t drive it for the next few days. After attempting to start it, engine would crank but not turn over. Tried a battery charge, and the engine cranks—slower each time—but won't start.
Sat for about 10 monthsbefore I tried again after another battery charge. Same deal: slower cranking, no start. It went from a steady to slow lazy cranking then to just repeated clicks. Removed belt but no change. Battery's fine according to autozone, so I'm puzzled. Any faced this with F-150s from this era? Is there a chance the engine seized from just trying to start? Steps to troubleshoot?
(maybe related but check engine light was on for a while before the issue, OBD scanner from harbor freight not reading any codes)
