Default shocks and struts

I have a 2013 f150..I took it down to Les Schwaub today for the tires to be rotated and when down they tell me that I need to replace the shocks and struts front and rear. It only has 37,000 miles on it and don't understand with low mileage how these are bad and what made them come up with this issue? any suggestions or ideas would be great..thank you

First we don't know what kind of miles those 37,000 were. Second set of tires?
Anything is possible, but ,normally those parts should last more than 37,000 mi.
If the gents checking the truck get paid a commission for what they sell that comes into the picture too! When you have trouble accepting an estimate it never hurts to get a second opinion. Most reliable service facilities have no problem with you getting a second opinion or even a third one.

Yeah, you can never stick to one opinion when a mechanic want's to sell you a product. Commission may always be a motive behind it. So, hanky is right when telling you to get at least a second opinion.
