hey, just thought i would update you all on my starter problem. about 5 months ago i posted saying the thing was starting but ocasionaly wouldint do a full turn over. after seeing 3 diffrent shops and not one of them knwing what it was i finaly took it to a starter specialist. The problem was nothign with the starter at all. the main wire that connected it was nearly 100% corodid. it was connecting with a peace of wire smaller then 1/8 of an inch. since i already have about 170000 k on my truck i got them to replace the starter any way and i also got the wire replaced... man what a diffrence in starting. but ya, just thought i would update everyone on that.. in total it cost me about 260 dollers canadian ( new starter and starter solinoid with a new wire hook up thats with labour )... any way, thx for everyone help though, ill also post another thread, i have some questions about a 2wd to a 4wd conversion... thx guys...
