If you have a test lite available, just clip the alligator clip to a good ground , turn the key to the on position and check if you have a light at the coil ign terminal.
If not , the ign switch is suspect. It uses the same wire to feed the coil in either the start or ign on position.

Default still trying

I'm beginning to think that I might have a fuel delivery problem with it. I'm way too poor and way too dumb about e.f.i. when a artificial brain takes any
way of getting fuel into the cylinders from me I get to the point of no return
and all I want to do is take a baseball bat to it. But all my frustration aside, if I replace the fuel pressure regulator would it start the injectors working or would it still not start?

It helps if you stick to one process at a time. Instead of jumping all around, were you able to try the test with the test lite?

i'd still rather put a 460 in it with a c-6 behind it and get rid of e.f.i. all together

I just wish that all companies tried a little K.I.S.S. while building these darn things at least the dependability would still be there

Sorry Hanky . I thank you ever so much for the help. If you ain't guessed by now I absolutely hate E.F.I. engines.

A lot of folks have a tendency to dislike something we don't understand. So what's wrong with that ?
Depends what it is. When EFI first came out a lot of people threw up their hands and quit. Then the info began to come along and all of a sudden it wasn't so bad.
Could you tell us what you checked with the meter so we can understand what you did?
It's important to know exactly where you placed the probes and what results you received. No apologies necessary, lets just get the problem solved, usually by taking one step at a time.
