Hello, new to this forum, I'm thinking about buying a new F-150 in Jan. Does anyone know what, if any, changes are made to the regular cab, 4X4, FX4 in 2006 ?

 

hmm, I guess no one knows anything about the 06's yet. Didn't think there was any changes.

Let me try this, is the anyone out there who has had a bad experience with the new style F-150?

there are not many cosmetic changes, when or if you buy look at the price of tires 18 inch very expensive

 

I don't know if this is the type of information that you are looking for but in case:

Briefly today, a customer of mine with a 05/F150, quadcab, 4 wheel drive, 5.3 engine, 17 in. wheels, and more stated he was thoroughly happy and got about 18 miles/gal. with passengers, etc. He pulls a camper on weekends and he and his family are very happy with the truck/price and dealer service.

 

The alternate brand (dodge) I imagine will cost more, 20" . But thanx for the heads up.

 

Ford hasnt built a "real" fullsize truck since 86. 88 for Rangers.

I guess there nice trucks, havent heard anything bad about them but they just dont do it like the old ones.
