Cool towing question from novice

Replacing our totaled 2003 F-150. It had the Triton 5.4L V-8 and tow pkg. Looking at a 2013 3.5L V-6 Ecoboost with low miles. Our travel trailer weighs no more than 7000 lbs. when loaded. Seems ok to me.
Thoughts?

Default Towing with 2010 F150 Platinum 5.4ltr

I tow a 2016 Keystone Outback 312BH the tongue wt is roughly 1000 and the trailer wt is 8010lbs. empty. I'm using a 10,000lb Pro series weight distribution hitch and I added supersprings SSA28 to the rear and the trailer pulls great. suprized how nice the springs feel when not towing also. Its very heavy but I live in Tx and have no plans on traveling over 300 miles with it and there are no mountains.
