It's tough to grasp exactly what someone is trying to tell you when different words mean different things.
My first question is could this shutter be an engine problem?
Why do you feel it is coming from the trans?
Is it speed related?
If you get the engine up to the problem RPM in park, or in gear with the brakes on ,can you create the shutter?

E4OD was prone to torque converter shudder. Depending on miles, type use and prior services, sometimes a fluid change will help, some additives too.
Do a net search for 'E4OD shudder' and see if it follows your complaint. Without driving the truck, hard to say if it's engine related, Minor/ moderat shudder, or time for a new converter. Also, would depend on how many miles on the current trans for a partial repair. Trans fluid condition? Burnt?, dark? Or nice red? All to concidered if trans shudder..
