Here is an interesting truck but sounds suspicious , this is directly from the dealer

Does this make sense or sound correct? Thanks so much !

This one is a 2016 F150 5L Lariat with a spray in box and its here on the lot for you to take a look.
This Lariat is fully loaded. I've also attached the window sticker for all its features it has from factory. The benefit of buying a lariat is the heated and cooled leather seats and its resale value.

This 5L does a max towing of 11600lbs but with this truck it can do 8900lbs no problem

. (The last sentence sounds suspicious this is the scarey part )

thanks again

Looked up the VIN..
Built 1/20/16
It had a 4 year extended warranty that expired Feb 1 2021
Crew cab, 145" WB, 5.0, With the tow package listed on the Sticker, GCWR shows to be 14300lbs (Sport Pkg would drop GCWR to 13500lbs)
The truck is a 7000lb GVWR
The combined weight is what should remain in total rate. Fords Towing guide does show 8900lbs Max, meaning 'unladen' or factoring MAX for a basic Curb Weight . Then,,subtract for any in bed payload, passengers/fuel,baggage etc, as well as trailer weight (loaded) and ARC weight for add on's even a spray in bed liner etc that potentially affect both GVWR and GCWR a tad..Not worth mention though..Anything of weight would need to be factored in.

Another bit of insurance/assurance prior to purchase,, is you can have your Ford Service Dept run a no cost Oasis Report on the trucks VIN. Anything done to the truck under warranty, Recalls etc would show on the report..
