Weird Noises
2014 F150 makes a weird creaking noise when I open and close any door. I replaced the multifunction switch and it still happens. It doesn't sound like the clicking of a bad actuator. Suggestions? Thanks in advance.
You said ANY door. So does that mean you open/close the PASSENGER door you hear that noise somewhere near PASSENGER door or the noise under dash. Same for DRIVER door, where you hear the noise, under dash or near DRIVER door or elsewhere?
When you hear the noise, engine off key out or not.

I was trying to troubleshoot and found a few comments similar to what I was experiencing on the internet. It was a relatively inexpensive and easy replacement. The noise seems loudest around the steering column.
Still not clear.
You said you open the door you hear the noise, you close it you still hear? Do you mean you OPEN only?
How about engine running idling you open the door?
When you open any door does the dome light turn on or not?
Your buzzer working fine or not?

The noise begins as soon as I open any door. It continues for approximately 30 seconds, with and/or without the engine running and with and/or without the doors closed. The dome light is on when the door opens and the audible signal sounds with the key inserted. I was able to replicate the noise as I was driving and switched the ac from front vents to defrost. The noise lasted approx 15 seconds and stopped. The ac seemed to work appropriately in either mode.
It sounds like your mode door actuator, if it sounds like a clicking. Since you state it occurs when you changed the mode from vent to defrost. Another possibility is the door itself is damaged. I've only seen this occur once, but the actuator failure is pretty common.
