Cranks. Then idle s rough. Sometimes shutting. Off. Fuel pump sounds like its. Surging

Not enough info to come to any possible conclusion or suggestion.
Is the problem only with and at idle speed?
Under what conditions does it shut off?
Engine & mileage , also what was most recent maintenance done?
