Okay, how hard is it to replace the o-rings on the injectors? and do you have to replace the sleeve cup when you pull the injectors?

It isn't hard to remove the injector and replace the o-rings. Diesel Tech Ron showed you most of it in the first video I posted.

The video I posted earlier on the shim kit shows you some more detail.

A google search will bring up other videos on changing injectors

Here is one I pulled up immediately. I am sure there are lots more:

You do not have to replace the cups/sleeves.

Default 2001 F-250 Died and will not start.

Good Evening Gentleman, Okay I just did a injector seal kit job on the 7.3 and it was not that bad. After I finished the job and tried to start the truck blue smoke came out the tail pipe and almost started. but this is the first time blue smoke has come out of the tail pipe. So my truck is not getting fuel. I've replaced the IRC, ECM, Camshaft Positioning Senior, and The High Pressure Oil Pump, what can I try next? A few moths ago I put in a new ECM. Well I bought a forscan OBD2 and just hooked it up. it's not connecting to my truck. Could the ECM be bad?

I would think that if it almost started, then it is getting at least some fuel.

Sometimes after working on the high pressure oil system, you have to crank a fair amount to get all the air out of the lines.

Let me recap what I've done to this 2001 Ford F-250. The first thing I did when the truck quit running was check all the fuses and replaced the relays, Then I dropped the tank to insure the pick up tube and filters were cleaned out. Then I replaced the IRP, CPS and the fuel pump that was leaking. still the truck would only crank. Then I replaced the ECM and High Pressure oil Pump. The truck would crank but would not start, but the ECM had a bad relay inside for the cold weather start relay. Then I did the injector seal replacement along with the fuel pressure relay on the fuel bull. The truck cranks great but will not start. I've even replaced all the fuses with new ones.

Do you know if the glow plugs are getting power ? Is the glow plug relay working?

Also, please tell us how many minutes of cranking have you done after doing all of the work on the high pressure oil system.

Did you prime the HPOP after installing the new one?

If you think you have properly primed the system and cleared the air out, then please just say so.
