Default 2011 f250 battery light

I have a 2011 f250 6.2 gasser. I replaced the alternator and the battery, I start the truck and begin to drive about 50-100 feet and my battery light comes on. Or if i let it just sit and don't drive the light comes on in a couple seconds. If i turn the truck off and back on the light is gone till i drive a couple seconds then its back. The battery is charging well and the alternator is putting out juice. Any ideas?

Whenever a battery is replaced in a late model vehicle, the computer needs to be notified, because the memory and charging system don't recognize the new battery and charging system problems arise. A scan tool is required to do this.
