Default 2016 F-350 died and wont start

2016 F-350 4X4 w/ PowerStroke diesel Drove to restaurant had supper and when we came out the truck wouldn't start. Key in, turned ignition and it sounded like a "pop" and the dash went dead. I turned it off, waited a bit and tried again...turned key on and the dash went crazy, like it had demons. At one point the flashers came on and the overhead map light began flashing along with the flashers. Tried jumping it thinking it was a dead battery…nothing but the same weird dash lights. Checked/cleaned connections and both batteries have 13v.Any ideas up to and including exorcism would be appreciated.

It was mad at you because you had dinner and didn't give it anything to eat....

See if you have any insulation rubbed off on the wiring harness under the dash.
Look for simple things as this is a gross symptom and the fix should be direct.

Just maybe,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, the pop you heard was a fuse.
Check all the fuses inside and under the hood . In either case, if you do find a blown fuse, it might just help direct you to the area with a problem.

If you do find a blown fuse, check in your owner's manual and it should tell what that particular fuse protects.
