2016 F250 Climat Control
The issue I am having is with the Auto Climate Control.
By starting the truck with the remote the auto control only runs at the speed and temperature it was at when I killed the truck. I understand the temp should stay the same.
example: (Auto Climate set at 71 degrees) Remotely starting the truck in the morning with the outside temp at 75 degrees driving to work, later that afternoon remotely staring it again when it may be 95 degrees to cool it before getting in the blower will only blow at the speed it was at when I killed the truck earlier that morning which is low because it has already cooled down. Even after inserting the key and turning it on the blower does not ramp up. I have to turn the AC completely off and right back on for it to work in Auto.
Correct me if I am wrong, but isn't one of the purposes for Auto and remote start to be able to heat or cool the truck to the preset temp as quickly as possible before getting in by increasing the blower speed. The dealership told me it is working correctly.
Thank you
