Default 2024 XLT F250 6.8L strange engine noise

I have a 2024 XLT F250 6.8L (gas v8) with 3500 miles. I’ve got a strange issue that happens after heavy towing a 7500 IBS camper trailer. While towing performance and power I have no issues. The problem is the next day after cold starting and just a simple drive casual drive. From the engine compartment I’m getting either a ping or knock noises, some have described as maybe loud cricket noise. After warm up everything is normal and this sometimes does not reoccur for days. Recently had dealer service and they scanned and found no codes. Initially I was thinking bad fuel but after numerous refills I don’t think that’s the cause.

Any suggestions on possible cause or has anyone else have the behavior?

Can we ask,
1. Is the vehicle in park neutral or drive when it sounds?
2.When did the noise first appear ?
3.Is there a more noticeable side it might appear loudest ?
The more info you can provide, the better.
If I understand you correctly, Ford could not create the noise Yes/No ?
Does it sound like a rattle, tinny or more solid ?
Was the engine idling or higher RPM when it appears ?
Unfortunately, most engine and other noisy parts don't throw a code . Can you make it happen for the Ford tech so they can hear it ?

2.When did the noise first appear ? Started about a month ago. It doesn't always do it. I really notice it after towing my trailer.
3.Is there a more noticeable side it might appear loudest ? To me it sounds like it maybe the drivers side.

Does it sound like a rattle, tinny or more solid ? Tinny noise or loose braket or something. Physical inspection everything apear normal and in in order. I question could it be a crack in the exhaust manifold and only present when cold.
Was the engine idling or higher RPM when it appears ? No noise at idle.

I wish I could, like I said it doesn't always do it.

Don't laugh, but you might need to tow your trailer to the Ford dealership park the trailer then take the tech for a ride.

You cant check motor mounts by just looking at them, you need to stress them to watch the engine and how much it moves brakes applied and raise RPM while in gear. .
