Default Rattling at 1.5k RPM

I got a 1992 F250 2WD XLT Long Bed back in January. It had been sitting for four years with a bad head gasket. We tore it apart and fixed the head issue, resurfaced heads and got the valves done. We got an EGR delete kit, and it has a new custom dual exhaust. We got it started, and it started turning off and bogging down at 1500 RMP, as well as shaking badly. Thought it was bad fuel or the tanks were rusty. The tanks are fine. We pulled them both out and cleaned them with a new fuel filter and sending units. The truck does fine with a new fuel filter, but after two drives, it turns off on its own again. The shaking gets progressively worse. We are currently working on changing out the ATF fluid. What else can we try?

You might consider another fuel filter change.
