6.0 rough start, '06 F-250
Guys, this is my first post despite being a reader for quite a while.
I've searched and searched but all the other posts that were similar weren't quite right so I decided to post, please excuse me if you guys already know the answer to my problem
The truck has been starting a little rougher and rougher over the last three months. I guessed glow plugs and figured with summer coming up in Vegas it wasn't a big deal. The first 3/4-1 mile it runs rough and would miss, but after that it's golden for the rest of the day to include multiple restarts etc.
It popped a check engine light and though I don't remember the specific code right now it was low fuel pressure on each of the eight cylinders. it also popped a fuel control module fault
The oil levels are fine and I refuel from a tank in the bed but it's got an inline water filter on it
It has now gotten to the point where it takes quite a while to get it running when it's cold (if the first start is in the middle of the day when it's 110, I usually don't have a problem). This morning I cranked and cranked with a couple of cylinders firing and a lot of black smoke. It never did start and I had to take my wife's car
HPOP? FCM? Thoughts?
Thanks in advance

Well, this is a good old diagnostic that's needed here. ALWAYS start with a fuel pressure test with these. Then you probably (if the pressure is ok) have a bunch of misfiring fuel injectors or possibly a high pressure oil concern.
I'd bet that if you look at the codes here, you have a bunch of cly. contribution codes, which explains that it was running rough, but the cause needs to be pinointed.

Ok guys, here's a couple more data points:
-the mileage has been dropping (~18 down to about ~15 on the highway)
-the problem appears to be worse when the truck is parked uphill (sounds weird I know)
-codes:P0611 (fuel inj control module perf), P0261/4/7/70/3/6/9/82 (cyl X inj circuit low)
