Default 6.2 2019 250 long start time ???

I have a 2019 F250 6.2 gas. At time when it get hot out it has longer than normal crank over times. This gets old because it only does it when it wants to the dealership says its normal i call BS on that. I saw someone saying that the fuel tank needs replacing because of an integrated pressure sensor ? Others say to replace the fuel pump in the tank and that ford has an upgraded one that fixes this problem because of a bleeding check valve on the fuel pump ?? ANY ONE HAVE THIS ISSUE PLEASE HELP Thanks

One way to confirm if this could be the problem. When you are getting ready to start the engine, turn the key on, wait a second or two, turn the key off, then turn it on again and attempt to start the engine. If it starts easier now that would confirm a leaking check valve in the fuel tank pump assy. Let us know what result you get, thanks.

If it was only that easy, the problem would have been corrected by now.

Newer vehicles are a little more complicated compared to the older vehicles and require a little more to correct some problems.

We don't know all the answers, but we might be able to offer some useful suggestions.
If we told you what tests to perform , that would not be any help at all.
What we can suggest is something you might need to consider. Unfortunately, good shops are hard to find, because either they don't want to invest in training or can't spare the person to obtain that necessary training. You may feel that doesn't help you, but indirectly it does. You may need to go somewhere else to get the problem cause found and corrected. Would you be willing to do this?

We recently got a 2015 F250 6.2 gas. After we drove home it had long crank starts (dealer had filled the tank). Read in owners manual Flex fuel will cause that. Long cranks all through that tank. After we filled the tank with regular gas it went to starting right quick. I'm guessing dealer filled with flex e-85, cheaper for him and nice guy to fill tank but ran bad. With real gas it runs and starts fine. Wish you the best for a solution!
