What engine in the 88 Ford?

Head gaskets meaning valve cover/s? or did you pull the heads? The rear main can leak without causing the clutch to slip...How bad is the leak?

it has a 351 in it the leak will drip for 5 minutes or so after you shut it off. the drips seem to be coming from where the trans and engine come together. it was the valve cover gaskets we changed
