sounds like injection system or computer as the injection system is computerized i would say you would have to go to the dealer or a diesel injection shop

Could bad fuel cause this, as sometimes it will start and run ok for 1 min then lope ,chech eng lite, sounds like one side of the eng is comeing apart, tail pipe smoke looks lean then rich and so on then slowly dies.
P.S. my old man just filled it up ?

Bad fuel will not cause the codes to appear. P0267 is cyl #3 circuit high. P0268 #3 circuit low. P1263 is #3 high to low side open. I would disconnect valve cover connector and inspect to see if wiring is burned, or may have to remove valve cover to inspect wiring under there.

r&r valve cover and there it was , burnt wireing for #3 inj. YOU THE MAN!
