Default 95 F250 4WD/2WD Shifter Broken - Manually Put it in 2WD?

Howdy,

I just picked up an F250 that needs a few things sorted out.

Currently the 4WD/2WD floor shifter has a broken bracket. So moving the shifter in the cab does nothing. Any tips on moving the levers on the transfer case from under the truck?

It's stuck in 4WD at the moment. I'd like to get it into 2WD and see what else I need to do to this thing...

Thank you,

Brent

Welcome to the site..
Have any images of the broken area?
Dending on how it broke, you can pop the extension arm off and manually shift the case. Set the parking brake, block the tires etc before any shift attempts.. Put the trans in neutral to remove any driveline binding, shifting the case should be fairly easy..
