97 F250 After rear ended no rear stop&turn lights
Hello All,
Im looking for any help that can be offered to me. I have a 97 F2504x4 and was pulling a 11 foot camper when i was hit from behind. The camper was destroyed. When i got rid of the camper i found that i no longer had rear stop or turn lights on both sides and the front turn and hazzards no longer work also. I have checked all the fuses i could find and wow there are alot of them! I unpluged the trail brake controller just in case and still no lights. So to top it off i pulled the left rear lens so i could check power at the sockets and i found i belive its the top socket that has 4 power prongs that 3 of them are to ground? I am pretty darn sure that with a dual element bulb 2 of the contacts would be for 12volt positive and that in no way could 3 of the 4 be grounded. So anyonehave any ideas on where i should start looking? I have read that the muli funtion switch is a very common problem point but the impact was not that hard. My guess was 3o? mph into my huge bumper but hit the camper just right that it destroyed the floor of the camper which made it junk. Thank you for reading and i look forward to any and all ideas.

You didn't say, but were you driving at night or did you have any lights on at the time?
The impact maybe didn't seem a lot, but electrical things don't take well to accidentally shorted circuits.
How does the trailer plug at the rear of your truck check out? Did any wires get squeezed and shorted causing everything from the multifunction sw to be cut off?
Hazards , signal and stop front and rear all go thru the multifunction sw assy.
How did you check the fuses ?
