97 F250 fuse melting

Default 97 F250 fuse melting

Hi I have a 97 F250 with the 460 auto it keeps melting the fuse for the heater when I use it and cant seem to find out why. Has any one else had this problem?thanks.

A good part of the time when the blower motor bearings are getting dry the motor pulls more current than normal and this can cause the fuse to open. Down where the plug connection is located by the blower motor, unplug the connection plug and if the fuse doesn't blow anymore it most likely will need to have the blower motor replaced.
