what size alternator would be good for a 93 f250 with alot of strobes and a minute mount plow I have an 130amp alternator but I have I replace it about twice a month because they burn out

A physically larger one for better cooling? Are you sure there aren't any shorted wires or appliances to make extra draw? Had a guy with a wrecker once with one of my 130a units giving him trouble. Come to find out he had a bank of junk batteries for jumpstarting and was using about 90 amps just to keep the voltage up on them! Are your batteries good? Your not surging the system by turning everything on all at once? No loose connections to make a spike voltage? Have fun!

I just replaced my 95 amp with a 200 amp small body,from db-starter-alternator.com It's new issue,with an overdrive pulley,that's rated at 100+ amps at idle...tel 1-800-753-2242.Seems to work fine....
