I have a 2015 f250 lariat with the 6.2l. Coolant was super low and ended up finding this tube leaking a considerable amount of coolant but can't figure out what's supposed to be plugged into it. Anyone have any ideas on how to fix it, what it should be connected to? It's on the passenger side coming from the cab behind the engine. I have a long drive coming up and don't really want to grenade my engine. thanks
Lol thank you, you scared me for a second but thats not a crack, just water leaking down from the hose that has no connection. Just realized that the water coming out is cold, even when only the heat is on. Any idea why this could be? Starting to think that maybe its just a a/c drain, but the design of it makes it look like its supposed to be connected to a hose.

What is the color of the fluid as indicated on a clean paper towel? If it's clear, it is not coolant. The coolant should have a reddish-yellow appearance. I would clean the area and pressure test the system while you look at or for any leaks. If you had to top off the coolant level a great deal. it leaked out from somewhere. You should never lose coolant in a good system.
I have looked closely and I do not see any cracks in the steel to the structure.
coolant problem ended up being water pump but still cant figure out what that hose goes to. the water coming out is very cold and clear so it must be from the a/c. still not sure if its supposed to be connected to anything
