Buzzing when I switch to back tank

Default Buzzing when I switch to back tank
91 Ford F250 extended cab. When I switch from the front tank to the rear tank an alarm buzzes. I don’t hear the alarm when I’m on the front tank. Still getting gas still driving. Just here the buzz.

  • last night, my truck started dying, so I switched to the front tank. It started working fine even though my front tank was empty. Didn’t last long, then my truck died. Will not start at all now on either tank.

Is the fuel gauge for the rear tank working correctly?
