Today after several trips this morning, trying to start and everything warmed up as it was supposed to except when i went to crank, nothing happened. Truck would not even turn over. Battery and alternator both good. Pulled battery cables off, pulled starter and had it checked, OK replaced starter and truck started. Any clue.

 

Just a question, how and what was done to check the starter? Sometimes a brush will hang up in the starter and a single rap will get it working again. That's why I was curious as to how the starter was checked out. ,,,,,,,hanky
