Starting issues with F-350 6.0 Diesel
I have a 2006 Ford F-350 6.0 Diesel Engine Truck. I am having real problems starting the engine after turning off the truck after it is warmed up. If I wait a couple hours it will start fine however. The battery is fully charged and cranking fine. The engine just doesn’t turn over.
I am able to work around the problem when I wait for a faint sound (which I think is the fuel pump possibly??) to stop. It is a quiet humming sound. Once that stops the engine will start no problem. I usually have to wait about 10-12 seconds for that sound to stop after turning the key to the ready position before I try to start the truck.
I have the check engine light on and the check engine codes that are thrown are:
P2286 - Injetor Control Pressure Sensor High
and
P2289 - Inector Control Pressure To High
Any ideas?
Thanks so much!

If it's the lift pump, I have the onld one off my truck laying around since i put my airdog 2 on. When you turn the key to on, you should hear a humming from under the driver's door inside the frame rail. That's the lift pump.
