Default F250

have f250 turbo diesel with ~ 12K miles. periodically transmission seems to disengaged when truck is idle. seems to be related to outside temp and engine RPM. service depart no op thus far as they cant seem to duplicate it. I get it as it is random in nature. guessing a slight increase in RPM would make behavior go away...anyone heard of anything like this? any way I could increase idle RPM or computer controlled these days?

thanks, jb

I realize you stated the vehicle has only 12K mi, is it safe to assume it is a 2016 0r 2017 model year covered by a new vehicle warranty?
