High pressure pump fault code shows contamination. Ford will not replace it under warrenty. 39000 miles one year old. I knew 6.7 has pump historys of contaminations. So i double filter fuel. 50 gallon tank in bed of truck two 10 micron filters and a watwr seperator. Gas station fills this tank then I fill truck from this tank. Stations filter then my double filter then the trucks filter.
Ford say its contaminated fuel. Is the filter system in truck that crappy that it cannot filter the fuel correctly along with all other filters. Anyone else have this issue. Dealer says 3500 to fix. I like Fords but if this is how they all are ill get rid it and go else where. Work oil fields in Wyoming I thought I had a reliable truck. Any comments will help.
