2003 F-350 6.0 bright lights will only work for about 30 sec and then will not come back on for days

 

I believe the hi -beam has a separate fuse that supplies the multi-function switch and from there it goes thru the central junction box (CJB) to the hi-beam of the headlights.
Might be a good idea to check the fuse connections at the CJB.
