hey every one , just thought i would try to get some info to help out a buddy , hes got a 2011 f350 gaser & its a welding rig , he has a amber beacon the he plugs into his cigarette lighter or power point & it blew a fuse....im guessing its a fuse but he said he checked the fuses & they all look good . could it be anything else ? which fuse or fuses could it be ? neither the cigarette nor the power point are working.

In the owner's manual it should tell you which fuse and it's location controls the lighter /power point. It would be a good idea to check the beacon and wiring and plug for a possible short circuit. An amber light should by itself should not cause a fuse to blow.
