Default Identifying a part 04 f350 super duty

Hi folks,

trying to figure out what the part is that is circled. Just came across this truck with a lift so not sure what it is.

also with it being lifted, would the tie rods, control arms, ball joints be aftermarket or could I buy stock replacement parts?

Welcome to the site...

That's called a steering damper. OE on an 04 would have been a single damper unit.
Depending on the amount of lift may determine OE or not. Drag link etc.
Rod ends, ball joints should be the same although grease-able BJ's are a better bet IMO.
