Looking for a mechanic to look at my transmission on my e350 econoline.

I am in marina del rey and don't want to drive far

 

I am quite a bit further than you would want to travel, but what year is your Econoline and what kind of trans problem does it have? Maybe we can shed some light on the problem and it's possible solution.
What do you think?

 

It revs when I am driving down the freeway. It also seems to slip a bit from 2nd to 3rd.
I think it is a '92.

 

How many miles are on the vehicle ?
Has the trans ever had the fluid and filter changed?
