Question Need some ford expierence,

I have a timing issue, I have got the motor to top dead center and checked the position of the distributor, and rotor button. I turn over the motor and it is sounding like the motor is firing on the exhaust side! What the heck, Please help me out. I love my truck and would like to continue to drive it!

It sounds like you're Top Dead Center for the exhaust stroke. Was any thing done with timing? Cam or timing gear and such? What engine?
