I just installed a lift on my 2015 f350 and now it won't start. I cycled the key to reset the inertia switch but still no start. Turns over but no fire. I also tried unhooking the battery for a while,still won't start. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

 

Might be a good idea to recheck the owner's manual.

The inertia switch is designed to trip and open upon a jolt /sudden stop.
Sometimes a strong vibration in the area of the switch will trip it.
Unless your owners manual says otherwise, it should be located just above the trans tunnel against the firewall under the dash. To reset it , just push down on the slightly recessed button and it should reset, if it has been tripped. Merry Christmas !

 

I read the owner's manual and reset the inertia switch. Since then I have found a module on top of the frame rail on the driver's side near the transfer case. I pulled it out and it seems to rattle,I think it may have been damaged by vibration removing the radius arm brackets. But I'm not sure what it is, possibly a fuel pump driver?

 

Yes,it is possible.
You might try to check if you hear the fuel pump run for approx.2 seconds when you first turn the key to on.

 

No can't hear it, that's what put me on this route.

 

You have a couple of choices.
One would be to have someone with the proper scan tool to check if the PCM is sending a signal to the Fuel Pump Module (FPM) and depending on what is found there would determine the next step.
The other would be to replace the FPM hoping that was the problem.
The fuel systems are quite complicated on the newer vehicles and it is almost impossible to troubleshoot the system without getting really involved or getting in there with a scan tool.
