Default Oil Change question on a 2015 F250 Diesel

Do you think I would be voiding the warranty if I have the oil changed at a quick service and use Shell Rotella rather the going to the Ford service dept and use ford brand oil.

Your owner's manual specifies what grade and spec oil you should use. As long as the place that does the oil change uses the recommended oil and it is indicated on the invoice it should be OK. Suggest you confirm it with your dealership to prevent any misunderstanding. There is a law that allows you to do this and not void the warranty.

thank you for the reply. I checked with local Ford dealer service dept. their price for the service isn't much difference than the quick service station. I'll be taking it to the dealer and be done with it.
