my oil pan is leaking but i cant telll if its the pan or main seal. if it is a pan is their any good sealants to patch it up because i dont want to do the oil pan. and if it is a main seal is their anything i can put in the oil pan that can patch the seal

look at the side of the pan and see if the neroprime(rubber) gasket is sticking out or at the back of the engine very common problem, if so you can replace it with a 4 piece gasket you can try to do it with the neroprime but it is realy dificult to get it to stay up. If its the rearmain try some seal conditioner.

Fix it right or keep adding oil. There is no such thing as a "Miracle in a Bottle".
