P0446 code
The vent valve is near the charcoal canister.
It is normally open and closed to run the leak test of the vapor control system. Most times this valve becomes a problem is because the operator continues adding fuel to top off the tank when the fuel nozzle shuts off and the liquid gets into the system that is designed to handle vapor only. It ruins the vent valve AND the canister.
Suggest you get those parts and you will now know what you are looking for. Some valves are mounted on the canister and others are mounted near the canister.
If you trace the lines from the canister, one of them goes to the vent valve solenoid.
