pinion nut 1 5/8

Default pinion nut 1 5/8
my 2014 F350 SRW 6.2 4x4 has a pinion nut that's 1 5/8 or 1 11/16...I've searched the net and it seems everyone else has a 1 1/8 pinion nut. Any input is appreciated.

What does one or two Ford parts dept have to say about this?

They have access to the units factory parts and of course part #'s.
Could someone have done some work and installed a different nut?

The thing is I received a regear kit from NITRO and the new pinion nut is also a 1 5/8 mabey closer to a 1 11/16. Dave
