Thumbs up

Welcome to the site...

Sure its the rear main?

Other places for the 7.3 to bleed oil that 'masks' as a rear main. Have you looked into the engines valley for pooled oil, HP oil leaks, or turbo pedestal? Any oil there will migrate to the back and on down...

I'm not a 100% sure that it is a Rear main leak but there's a puddle that i recently found under the truck it smells like diesel fuel ....after i drive the truck for a short period and stop when i get out and walk to the front of the truck i smell fuel...i'm just wondering if there's a leak that's puddling up and when i take off it's running down the back and it's making look like a rear main leak...i've been keeping a close eye on the oil level and it seams to be ok??

Look at the fuel drain valve on the back side of the engine fuel filter. It is often the source of a seep/leak. Fuel puddles, sloshes down the back of the engine and looks like a rear main oil seal leak.
