Rear Suspension Question
Bought a 2011 F-250 XL reg cab 8' box. The truck it self has it's typical rust rot but nothing where I need to Start hacking and replacing yet. I'm using it for my Towing needs so I'd like to get the rear suspension up to date and I'm almost certain the OEM shock is shot. Is their some sort of coil shock absorber kit I could get when hauling all the weight of say a 2 horse bumper pull trailer or a 32' travel camper filled with our livable arrangements or a stacked Dump trailer? Any Brand you like over others?
Beefing up the springs by replacing or adding a leaf is your best way to go for carrying heavier loads. If your shocks are original, they could be bouncy and worn out but those really have nothing to do with the adding load carrying ability of the truck. They just control oscillations of the springs.
