spectre fuel pump

Default spectre fuel pump

i bought this pump and as there was none on my motor i don't know which tube is the in or out. any help?
the motor is a 1975 460 cu in. carburated

If you push the pump arm up all the way,you will feel it get harder, . With your fingers on the two pipes you will feel one will have vacuum and one will push out air. the vacuum fitting goes to the fuel tank and the pressure one goes to the carb.

the pump is already mounted. i don't want to take it out. i bought it at auto zone and they don't even show this pump on there site. i contacted spectre and they didn't get back to me. i cant even find this pump on their site either. thanks for the reply though.

Have someone crank the engine over a few revolutions and hold a finger over the end of one of the tubes on the pump while cranking . You will know right away if that pipe is vacuum or pressure..
