Ford F-250 & Ford F-350The heavier duty full sized trucks from Ford, offering bigger, more powerful engines and drivetrains for the abuse they may go through in the workplace.
My fathers F350 was stolen about a month ago. The truck was recovered the next day but with some damage. The steering column was in pieces, the tires were blown out, and some tools were stolen. I got a used steering column off ebay for about $200. The new coulmn was a year or two off but most of the parts were the same. I swapped what I needed to and installed the new column.
There is a yellow wire loom that comes from under the dash and plugs into the clockspring, but there is one wire that is by itself (black with red stripe) and I have no idea where it is supposed to go. It looks like it fits into the ignition somehow but I can't figure it out. The car isn't getting any power at all. Any recommendations welcomed. Pictures attached.
Also: I tried posting this thread yesterday with more detail but it never posted, I don't know why.
