Default Trailer Brake Problem

Have problem with brake indicator or F350 when towing a 5th wheel trailer. It is intermittent problem. Shows no brakes and then will turn green - showing brakes on trailer. Have checked all wiring and Ford dealer has checked indicator on truck end. Anybody else have this problem? What did you find?

I replied to your problem once, after a complete recheck of my camper,I found out there was a short in my brake wiring inside the wheel of the camper. The truck picked it up, but to find the problem, the wheels had to be jacked up and the test box hooked up. The wheels spun by hand and the test box turned on it showed which wheel had the short. The bad part was the truck after a few beep alert's would disable the brake controller and you have no trailer brakes I did not try the slide switch manually to see if it worked it my have. Hope this helped
