Default Upper and lower ball joints 2004

Brought my tuck to garage for service they found upper and lower ball joints bad. 27000 miles and most of them are highway miles. Truck has been serviced as schedule. So watch it boys. They changed them per warranty but what happens after another 27000 miles am I going to have to do again? Just wondering if anybody has had same problem.

Default RE: Upper and lower ball joints 2004

A pal of mine works on superduties every day at a landscape company that only uses fords. He told me that if there's one consistent problem with superduty's it's the ball joints. Every one goes somewhere between thirty and sixty thousand miles. Also keep an ear open for brake noise, as many he's dealt with develop this problem somewhere near seventy thousand.
